This course will be adapted to the needs of the particular organization if all attendees are from the same working background or to suit individuals on one of our ‘open’ courses.

This course can be attended by any one from the complete novice, an experienced first aider wishing to add to their portfolio to those who are skilled but feel their skills need updating.

The training normally takes place over 3-4 hours and includes the necessary theory followed by lots of practical hands-on practise to build confidence.

The syllabus includes:-
– The Theory of Resuscitation
– Incident Management
– Basic Life Support
– Recovery Position
– Airway management – practical use of airway adjuncts and suction
– Oxygen – safety, practical use and contra-indications

This training is in line with the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines 2010 and can be adapted to suit the client in respects to what age group they may be resuscitating, be it babies, children, adults or a mixture.

This course can be run for up to 8 participants and certification and a manual is provided for each student at no additional cost.

This course can either be run at your own premises with all necessary equipment being supplied or another suitable training venue can be sourced by Diverse Coaching at an additional cost.

At the end of the course candidates will receive a debrief of their performance and on request a personal development plan can be created to help further a candidates knowledge/confidence/ability.
